Tour 6 Days : Tour of the thousand kasbah & desert

Day 1 : Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Skoura - Valley of the Roses - Valle Dades :

After breakfast begins the route from Marrakech to Ouarzazate across the High Atlas by the Tizi N Tichka (2,260 m high). Passing from the valley Ounila, strewn with Berber villages, we arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the setting for many films like Gladiator, and The Sheltering Sky. After Ouarzazate, we will pass through the exotic oasis of Skoura, we will see the Kasbah Ameridel and the village of El Keela M'gouna, in the Rose Valley. We'll cross the road of Thousand Kasbahs, along the small Berber villages to reach the Dades Valley where we'll spend the night in a kasbah-traditional hotel. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 2 : Todra Gorges - Tinghir - Erfoud - Merzouga :

We will start the day with a visit of the Todra Gorge, a narrow gorge with vertical walls of more than 300 meters situated in a valley full of palms and Berber villages. We will pass to Erfoud. Stop at Rissani for lunch while enjoying the famous Berber pizza and rest a little bit. We arrive in Merzouga, close to the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. Afternoon you are free to walk through the dunes and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 3 : Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga Khamlia :

After a hearty and delicious breakfast, we travel along the expanse of sand Erg Chebbi (the big dunes of Morocco), once part of the route of the former Paris-Dakar, with a view in the distance of the mountains on the border with Algeria. We will reach the village of Khamlia where we relax with a cup of tea while we enjoy a short concert of Gnawa music. Return to the lodge, lunch and departure at 16:00 by jeep to the luxury camp. Dinner and overnight at the fully equipped tent.

Day 4 : Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Draa Valley - Zagora - Agdz :

We'll wake up to see the sunrise from the dunes. After breakfast departure to Rissani and visit the city, known for its market, the most important in the South, where many desert nomads come to shop. We will leave the desert, through interesting landscapes to the Draa Valley where we will make several stops to enjoy the view of breathtaking scenery. We continue our journey to Zagora, a starting time point of the caravans to Timbuktu for a long 52-day trip. We'll get to Agdz. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 5 : Agdz - Ouarzazate - Marrakech :

Departure after breakfast to Marrakech, crossing the lush green valley of the Draa, known as the biggest palm grove in Morocco. En route visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the famous film studios Atlas. Evening arrival in Marrakesh. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 6 : Marrakech :

After breakfast we start to discover Marrakech: a local guide will accompany you to a visit of the Bahia Palace. It continues with a visit to the Saadian tombs, who guard the tombs of the kings of this dynasty and family. If you are interested there is a possibility to visit the Majorelle gardens or relax among the warmth of a steam bath and / or with a massage with Argan oil. Dinner is free-time so it's worth it to have dinner in the big square Jamaa el-Fna. Here you can see the characteristic street vendors, which ensure a continuous show: fortune tellers, snake charmers, music groups, water carriers, and tattoo artists. Overnight in a riad.
