The Ourika Valley is a traditional region of the High Atlas, a 45-minute drive from Marrakech. Green and lush due to the river running through it, this valley is a place of peace and rest where you will discover the simple and traditional life of the Berbers and can enjoy fresh air all year round. From the hotel where you stay, we drive to the valley of Ourika, to reach Sitti Fatma, a small Berber village nestled in a canyon over the Atlas Mountains. From here there are several hiking routes to the seven waterfalls, the first of which are easily reached along the riverbed. You can have lunch in a traditional restaurant along the river or take a picnic. After lunch and a little relaxation, we return down the road to Marrakech.
