Tour 5 Days : The imperial cities tour (Marrakech, Fès, Rabat, Meknes)

Day 1 : Marrakech - Rabat :

After breakfast, we depart for Rabat, the country's capital. It will be seen from outside the Royal Palace (Mechouar), we will visit the Kasbah Ouadaya with its gardens, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Hassan II tower. Dinner and overnight in hotel / riad.

Day 2 : Rabat - Meknes - Fes :

From Rabat we reach Fès. Along the way we will stop in Meknes, a World Heritage Site. After lunch we'll continue on the way to the archaeological park of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the ruins of which are located in the middle of a fertile plain. After the visit we will reach Fez. Dinner and overnight in hotel / riad.

Day 3 : Fès :

Guided tour of Fez, perhaps the most famous of the imperial cities after Marrakech. You can start your tour of the old city of Fez (Fez el-Bali) and its medina, the largest and most famous in the Arab world. It continues with the visit of the madrasa Bou Inania, the Koranic school in Fez, where boys studied the Koran between rooms, chapel and a magnificent patio. The tour then continues through the Chouara tannery, discovering the leather processing system, the first clean-up from the hair to the color with natural dyes. The city tour ends Beffarne passing through the square, where coppersmiths and tinkers populate the square and adjacent streets. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 4 : Fès - Marrakech :

We start after breakfast to the South. The road passes through the Berber villages of Immouzer and Ifrane. We'll make a break for lunch and in the afternoon you take the journey with a stop in Beni Mellal, an important agricultural center of the country. Arrival in Marrakech in the evening. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 5 : Marrakech :

After breakfast we start to discover Marrakech: a local guide will accompany you in the visit of the Bahia Palace. We continue with a visit to the Saadian tombs, who guard the tombs of the kings of this dynasty and family. If you are interested there is a possibility to visit the Majorelle gardens or relax among the warmth of a steam and / or with a massage with Argan oil. Return to the riad and dinner. After dinner, we'll walk to the big square Jamaa el-Fna Square where you can see the characteristic street vendors, which ensure a continuous show: fortune tellers, snake charmers, music groups, water carriers, and tattoo artists. Overnight and dinner at the riad.
